**Mumbai, October 26, 2024:** Aspiring designers have a final chance to register for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2025 with a late fee today. The registration window closes at 5 pm on the official website of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, the organizing institute for the exam.
UCEED 2025, scheduled for January 19, 2025, from 9 am to 12 noon, serves as the gateway to Bachelor of Design (BDes) programs at several prestigious institutes including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur.
**Registration Fees and Important Dates:**
* The registration fee is Rs 4,000, while female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories are eligible for a discounted fee of Rs 2,000.
* Admit cards will be available for download from January 3, 2025.
* Candidates can rectify discrepancies in their admit cards until January 9, 2025.
* The results will be declared on March 7, 2025.
**Eligibility Criteria:**
* Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2024 in all subjects or be appearing for the first time in 2025, regardless of their stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts and Humanities).
**Exam Format:**
* UCEED 2025 is a three-hour exam conducted at designated test centers.
* The exam comprises two parts: Part A, a computer-based test, and Part B, a sketching section requiring candidates to draw on provided sheets.
* Both parts are compulsory and must be completed within the allotted time.
The UCEED 2025 score is valid for admissions to BDes programs in the academic year 2025-2026. Additionally, the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) score, which is also conducted by IIT Bombay, is valid for admission to MDes and PhD programs at various institutes.
