**Chennai, November 8, 2024:** Quick thinking and swift action by a team of Chennai traffic police officers saved the life of a 32-year-old motorcyclist who suffered a sudden chest pain while riding his two-wheeler on the Thoraipakkam-Pallavaram Radial Road.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when a team of traffic police personnel, including Sub-Inspector M. Mahendran, Head Constable M. Subramani, and Constables Velayudham and Gangadharan, were conducting vehicle checks. They noticed the motorcyclist, identified as Murugan of Cuddalore, fall from his vehicle and rushed to his aid. Upon finding him clutching his chest in pain, they immediately transported him to a nearby urban health center for first aid. Murugan was subsequently transferred to the Government Royapettah Hospital for further treatment.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), Greater Chennai Traffic Police, Bandi Gangadhar, commended the team’s prompt response, stating it had saved the rider’s life. He personally felicitated the police personnel for their exemplary actions.
