**Mumbai, India** – Ajay Devgn’s action-packed “Singham Again” has roared through its first week at the box office, grossing a massive Rs 173 crore domestically. The film, featuring a star-studded cast including Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Salman Khan, has been a crowd-pleaser, despite facing stiff competition from the successful horror comedy “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”.

While “Singham Again” opened strong with a Rs 43.5 crore opening day collection, its momentum has slightly slowed down after the festive weekend. However, the film is expected to reach Rs 250 crore globally in its second week.

“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”, starring Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit, has also performed well, adding to the box office buzz. The film’s producer, Bhushan Kumar, even confirmed that he met with “Singham Again” producers to avoid a direct clash, acknowledging that both films were impacted by the simultaneous release.

Despite the competition, “Singham Again” currently stands at the 8th highest-grossing film of 2024, while “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” occupies the 10th spot.

“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” director Anees Bazmee expressed satisfaction with both films’ performance, stating that the audience has shown love for both and that “a small difference in numbers doesn’t matter.”

The box office battle between these two franchises will continue in the coming weeks, with both films aiming to secure a strong foothold in the year’s top grossing films.
