Despite losing Abhishek Sharma early in the innings, India’s top order thrived, with Sanju Samson smashing a brilliant half-century.
Samson, batting at number three, plundered the South African bowling attack, striking five sixes and three fours in his blistering knock. He reached his fifty off just 27 balls, laying the foundation for a dominant Indian performance.
