Mumbai, India – Actor Nitin Chauhan, known for his appearances in reality shows like ‘Splitsvilla’ and ‘Crime Patrol’, was found dead at the age of 35. The news was confirmed by fellow actors and friends on social media. However, the circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be officially confirmed by his family or police.
Chauhan, a resident of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, gained recognition after winning the reality show ‘Dadagiri 2’. He had also starred in shows like MTV’s ‘Splitsvilla 5’, ‘Zindagi Dot Com’, and ‘Crime Patrol’. His last on-screen appearance was in the 2022 Sab TV daily soap ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’.
Several co-stars, including Sudeep Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh, who worked with Chauhan on ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’, have posted condolences on social media. Some of their posts have fueled speculation that the actor may have taken his own life, with messages expressing shock and grief. Actor Vibhuti Thakur, in his tribute, shared a picture with Chauhan and wrote, “Rest in peace, my dear. I’m truly shocked and saddened. Wish you had the strength to overcome all the troubles. Wish you were as strong mentally as you were physically.”
Chauhan’s father has reportedly traveled to Mumbai to claim his son’s body. However, further details regarding the cause of death are yet to be released. The police have not issued any statement on the matter.
