Fri Nov 08 12:45:08 UTC 2024: ## Pakistan Wins Thrilling Second ODI Against Australia, Leveling Series at 1-1

**Adelaide, Australia:** Pakistan triumphed over Australia in a nail-biting second ODI on Friday, November 8th, leveling the three-match series at 1-1. This victory marks Pakistan’s first ODI win at Adelaide Oval since 1996, ending a 28-year drought.

The hero of the match was Pakistan’s pace bowler, Haris Rauf, who took a remarkable 5 wickets, dismantling the Australian batting order. Sam Ayub and Abdullah Shafique also played crucial roles, both scoring half-centuries in Pakistan’s chase.

Australia, put in to bat first after Pakistan won the toss, struggled to get going. They were eventually bowled out for a paltry 163 runs in 35 overs. Rauf’s devastating spell was well complemented by Shaheen Afridi’s 3 wickets.

In response, Pakistan chased down the target with relative ease, reaching 169 runs in 26.3 overs with only one wicket down. Ayub’s 82 and Shafique’s unbeaten 64 ensured a comfortable victory. Babar Azam finished the match in style with a six, remaining unbeaten on 15.

The third and final ODI will be played in Perth on November 9th, with both teams eager to claim the series victory.
