**Hyderabad, November 8, 2024:** The much-anticipated film “Appudo Ippudo Eppudo,” starring Nikhil and Rukmini Vasanth, has hit theatres today. The film, directed by Sudheer Varma, is a crime thriller with a love story woven into it. However, despite the promising premise, the film has failed to deliver on its potential.
The story follows Rishi (Nikhil), an aspiring racer who falls in love with Tara (Rukmini Vasanth). When his love is unrequited, he pursues his racing dreams in London. He finds a new love interest in Tulasi (Divyansha Kaushik), but his happiness is short-lived as Tulasi disappears. Rishi’s pursuit of Tulasi leads him to unravel a dangerous web of secrets, connecting him to a local don, Badrinarayan (John Vijay).
While the plot promises a compelling narrative, the execution falls flat. The film is plagued by an overly convoluted plot, with numerous twists and flashbacks that fail to engage the audience. The love story lacks any real depth, and the crime thriller elements feel underdeveloped and lack the suspense that the genre demands.
The film also suffers from dated filmmaking techniques and a lack of naturalism in the performances. While Divyansha Kaushik’s performance is commendable, other actors, including Nikhil and Rukmini Vasanth, fail to leave a lasting impression.
“Appudo Ippudo Eppudo” ultimately disappoints with its predictable storyline, unconvincing characters, and a lack of genuine thrills. It’s a missed opportunity from director Sudheer Varma, who has previously delivered critically acclaimed films.
