The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, India’s top-selling compact sedan, is getting a much-needed update. The 4th-generation Dzire will be officially launched on November 11th, and bookings are already open. Maruti Suzuki has revealed the impressive features of the new model, including its 5-star safety rating and improved fuel efficiency.

**Safety First:**
The Dzire has undergone rigorous testing by Global NCAP and achieved a coveted 5-star rating for adult occupant protection and a 4-star rating for child occupant protection. This is a significant step forward for Maruti Suzuki, who have faced criticism in the past for their vehicles’ low crash test ratings.

**Fuel Efficient Design:**
Maruti Suzuki claims that the updated roof design of the Dzire contributes to a lower drag coefficient, resulting in improved fuel efficiency. The manual gearbox variant boasts a fuel economy of 24.79 kmpl, while the AMT version achieves 25.71 kmpl. CNG models promise an impressive 33.73 km/kg.

**Variants and Features:**
The new Dzire will be available in LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+ trims, mirroring the Swift model. Automatic variants will also be offered, with the exception of the base LXI trim. The factory-fitted CNG kit will be available on VXI and ZXI versions.
