**Perth, Australia:** The Brisbane Heat Women won the toss and elected to field in the 16th match of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2024 at the W.A.C.A. Ground in Perth. Sydney Thunder Women, batting first, managed to post a respectable 170/5 after a strong start.
Heather Knight led the charge for the Thunder, smashing a quickfire 59 runs off just 34 balls, including 10 boundaries. Phoebe Litchfield also contributed significantly with a 25-ball 40.
