Wed Nov 06 17:10:00 UTC 2024: ## Sunil Kumar Achieves Historic 350 Tackle Points in Pro Kabaddi League

**Mumbai, India -** U-Mumba captain Sunil Kumar has achieved a historic milestone in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), becoming the seventh player to reach 350 tackle points in the league’s history. He achieved this feat during a match against Patna Pirates, reaching the landmark with a single tackle point.

Kumar, who has previously captained the Jaipur Pink Panthers and won the PKL title in the 10th season, has been a consistent performer in the league. He was bought by U-Mumba for a hefty sum during the auction this season.

“It’s a great feeling to reach this landmark,” said Kumar. “I’ve worked hard throughout my career, and to be among the best defenders in the league is a huge honor.”

Kumar’s accomplishment places him alongside some of the most celebrated defenders in PKL history. The current top spot belongs to Sultan Fazel Atrachali, who boasts 504 tackle points in 174 matches. Surjeet Singh, another prominent right cover specialist, holds the second spot with 410 points in 154 matches.

Other top defenders in the 350+ tackle point category include Manjeet Chiler (391 points), Girish Ernak (362 points), and Nitesh Kumar (361 points).

As Kumar continues his journey in the PKL, he is looking to solidify his place among the league’s elite defenders and lead U-Mumba to a successful season.
