**Thiruvananthapuram, November 7, 2024:** The Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday approved several key decisions, including the establishment of a special office to expedite land title deed issuance in Kottayam district and a financial guarantee for Kerala Paper Products Ltd.
The cabinet sanctioned the creation of a special office and 17 temporary posts for a year to process land title applications in Erumely north, Erumely south, and Korithod villages in Kanjirappally taluk.
Furthermore, the cabinet approved leasing five acres of land to the Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited (KMML) for 10 years. This land will be used to establish an iron oxide residue processing plant and an ETP sludge processing plant.
The cabinet also decided to create a new Associate Professor position in Nephrology at the Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College Hospital.
In a move to bolster the financial stability of Kerala Paper Products Ltd., the cabinet approved a government guarantee of ₹30 crore to enable the company to secure working capital from banks.
