The price of 24-carat gold, known for its purity, dropped to Rs 78,560 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold, preferred for its durability due to its alloy mix, was priced at Rs 72,000 per 10 grams. Silver also experienced a decrease, falling by Rs 100 to Rs 95,800 per kilogramme.

According to MCX data, gold prices experienced a 1.46 percent drop, closing the trading session at Rs 78,026 on November 7th. However, the current rate is below the peak of Rs 79,362 reached on October 30, 2024.
