**New Delhi, November 7, 2024** – Gold prices in India remained stable on Thursday, with 24-carat gold trading at Rs. 8052.3 per gram and 22-carat gold at Rs. 7382.3 per gram. However, the price of gold has experienced a slight dip in recent weeks, with a 3.48% decline over the last month. Silver, on the other hand, saw a slight drop, trading at Rs. 99100.0 per kg.

Across major Indian cities, gold prices for 10 grams ranged from Rs. 80371.0 in Chennai to Rs. 80523.0 in Delhi. Silver prices, meanwhile, varied between Rs. 98400.0 per kg in Mumbai and Rs. 107700.0 per kg in Chennai.

The slight decline in gold and silver prices can be attributed to a number of factors, including global demand for gold, fluctuations in currency values, current interest rates, and governmental regulations. Global events, such as the state of the global economy and the strength of the US dollar against other currencies, also play a role.
