Thu Nov 07 01:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Urges Banks to Expedite Loan Disbursement for Central Schemes
**Manipal, November 7, 2024:** Kota Srinivas Poojary, MP for Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, has instructed banks to promptly release loans to beneficiaries of centrally sponsored schemes in the district.
During a review meeting on Monday at the Rajatadri district office complex in Manipal, Mr. Poojary expressed concern over the delay in disbursing the second and third installments of the PM-SVAnidhi loan. While 4,465 beneficiaries received the first installment, only 2,865 and 845 received the second and third respectively.
The MP directed bank officials to immediately release the pending installments to those who have already received the first installment. He also emphasized that each bank should distribute sanction letters to at least 100 beneficiaries during a program scheduled for November 8th.
Mr. Poojary encouraged banks to readily sanction loans to beneficiaries, stating that their cooperation is crucial in building a self-sustaining India.
The meeting was attended by Zilla Panchayat CEO Prateek Bayal, Lead Bank Manager Harish, and other officials.
