**New Delhi:** A wave of fear swept through the national capital as two separate firing incidents occurred within 24 hours, leaving residents on edge.
On Wednesday afternoon, three unidentified men on a motorcycle targeted a motor workshop in the Dinpur area of Najafgarh. While one assailant remained on the bike, two others entered the workshop and fired five rounds at a parked car. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident.
The Delhi Police, who received a PCR call around 4:14 pm, are investigating the incident and have confirmed that five rounds were fired.
This follows a similar incident reported on Monday in the Nangloi area. Three individuals with their faces covered, riding a two-wheeler, fired several rounds at a plywood shop before fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred at 1:30 pm at Nangloi police station and was confirmed by the DCP Outer District. The motive behind both incidents remains unclear and police are actively investigating to identify the perpetrators and establish the reasons behind the targeted attacks.
