**Mumbai, India:** Shreyas Iyer continued his stellar form in the Ranji Trophy, smashing an unbeaten 152 to propel Mumbai to a commanding 385/3 against Odisha on the opening day of their Elite Group A clash.
Iyer, who scored a century in his previous Ranji Trophy appearance, found a reliable partner in Siddhesh Lad, who notched up 116 not out. The duo put on a formidable 231-run stand for the fourth wicket, tearing into the Odisha bowling attack.
Earlier, Mumbai’s innings got off to a shaky start as Biplab Samantaray dismissed Angkrish Raghuvanshi (92) and skipper Ajinkya Rahane for a duck. However, Iyer and Lad’s partnership ensured a strong finish for Mumbai, leaving them in a dominant position.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir dominated Meghalaya, bowling them out for a paltry 73 runs in Shillong. Auqib Nabi and Abid Mushtaq were the stars of the show, taking five wickets each. Jammu and Kashmir, in reply, reached 125/6, taking a 52-run lead.
