**Hinwil, Switzerland -** Sauber has announced a significant driver lineup change for the 2025 Formula 1 season. Brazilian driver Gabriel Bortoleto, currently leading the Formula 2 championship, will join the team alongside Nico Hulkenberg. This move marks the beginning of Sauber’s transition to Audi for the 2026 season.

The team confirmed that Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will be departing at the end of the current season. Bottas, who has been with Sauber for three seasons, is rumored to be considering a return to Mercedes as a reserve driver.
