Maruti Suzuki has officially revealed the highly anticipated fourth generation Dzire, set to launch on November 11th. This latest iteration boasts a complete makeover, featuring redesigned aesthetics, updated features, a new engine, and improved safety measures.

The new Dzire sports a fresh and bold design with a larger, black grille, crystalline LED headlights, and fog lamp housings. The top trims sport 15-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, adding a touch of elegance. The car will be available in four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+.

Inside, the cabin receives a comprehensive update, with beige seat fabric, a dashboard borrowed from the new Swift, and a faux wooden panel in the middle. The range-topping trim boasts features like a sunroof, 9-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, cruise control, and a 4.2-inch MID on the driver’s display. Passengers in the rear enjoy dedicated USB charging points, AC vents, adjustable headrests, and an armrest.

Under the hood, the Dzire now houses a new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder K12N engine, producing 82 horsepower and 112 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT, with the Idle Start-Stop (ISS) system standard across all trims. Maruti Suzuki will also offer a CNG variant of the new Dzire. The car boasts improved aerodynamics, resulting in claimed fuel efficiency figures of 24.7 kmpl for the MT and 33.7 km/kg for the CNG variant.

Safety has been enhanced with standard features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, and hill-hold assist. Optional features include a 360-degree camera and reverse parking sensors.
