**Rewa, Madhya Pradesh:** A shocking incident unfolded on Diwali in Chaura village, Rewa district, when a woman stabbed her husband’s first wife following a heated argument. The incident, which occurred on October 31st, has sent shockwaves through the community.
According to the police, the accused woman, identified as the second wife, attacked the first wife with a knife, leaving her injured. The injured woman is currently undergoing treatment.
“A case has been registered at Sohagi police station,” said Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Vivek Lal. “Preliminary investigations suggest jealousy and hatred as the motive behind the attack, though further investigation is underway.”
