**Machilipatnam, November 5, 2024:** A series of meetings and events took place in Machilipatnam today, showcasing the Andhra Pradesh government’s commitment to development and infrastructure improvement.

Minister Vasamsetti Subhash, the Krishna District In Charge Minister, emphasized the state’s focus on creating 20 lakh jobs and highlighted the upcoming industrial corridor in Mallavali village, for which ₹14.23 crore has been allocated for road development. He urged for expedited work on crucial projects like the Machilipatnam port and fishing harbor.

Minister Kollu Ravindra, responsible for Mines and Geology, praised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s efforts to ensure good governance in all districts. He highlighted the government’s focus on developing the Bandar port and providing universal drinking water access through the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Machilipatnam MP Vallabhaneni Balashowry stressed the need for improved road infrastructure and a proper drainage system in the region. He urged officials to work with local MLAs to address concerns regarding road conditions affecting farmers and to prevent future flood damage.

The ‘Pothole-free Andhra Pradesh’ program was launched in Kalekhanpeta colony, with ministers announcing plans to improve 96 roads in the district.

The meeting concluded with the laying of the foundation stone for a ‘Yadava Kalyana Mandapam’ in Machilipatnam, with ministers pledging contributions towards its construction.
