**Nandyal, November 5, 2024:** The launch of a new seaplane service connecting Vijayawada to Srisailam Temple is scheduled for this Saturday, November 9th, and preparations are in full swing.
Nandyal District Collector G. Rajakumari and Superintendent of Police Adhiraj Singh Rana have been overseeing the arrangements at Patalaganga, near the temple, where the seaplane is expected to land.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is slated to arrive at Patalaganga via the seaplane, with the service commencing at Punnami Ghat in Vijayawada. The seaplane will then land near the Nalgonda Tunnel before reaching the plastic jet at Patalaganga boating point. From there, the Chief Minister will travel to the Srisailam temple by ropeway.
The Collector has personally inspected the security arrangements, VIP seating, green rooms, and other essential facilities at the boating point. Officials have been instructed to ensure ample water supply, parking, and temporary toilets, as well as maintain hygiene and cleanliness at the ropeway building, cabin, and the trekking path to Patalaganga.
The launch of this seaplane service is expected to provide a convenient and scenic alternative for devotees wishing to visit the Srisailam Temple.
