**Hyderabad, India:** The much-anticipated film “Thandel,” starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, has finally locked its release date: February 7th, 2025. The film, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, is produced by Bunny Vas under the banner of Geetha Arts and presented by Allu Aravind.
The announcement was made at a press conference in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The makers chose the Valentine’s Day weekend as the perfect release date, aiming to capitalize on the romantic mood of the season.
Naga Chaitanya expressed his delight about the release date, saying, “This is not an ordinary film, it’s about the struggles of fishermen in Srikakulam.” He praised the dedication of the director and co-star Sai Pallavi, who he called the “Queen of the Box Office.”
