Tue Nov 05 11:20:00 UTC 2024: ## Kentucky Sees Strong Early Voting Turnout Ahead of Election Day

**FRANKFORT, KY -** Kentucky is experiencing a surge in early voting ahead of Tuesday’s general election, with over 225,000 voters already casting their ballots, according to Secretary of State Michael Adams. Early voting continues Friday and Saturday, and officials expect the numbers to grow.

While the voting process has been largely smooth, a single malfunctioning machine in an undisclosed location was reported. A video showing a voter unable to select former President Donald Trump on the machine sparked concern, but officials investigated and quickly replaced the machine. The affected voter was able to cast her ballot without further incident.

In Jefferson County, voters can choose from 20 early voting locations open from 8am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday. Officials urge voters to check their ballots online to familiarize themselves with the candidates and issues before heading to the polls.

With a strong turnout in early voting, Kentucky is poised for a robust general election on Tuesday.
