Mon Nov 04 21:38:43 UTC 2024: ## Prime Minister Modi to Lay Foundation Stone for Darbhanga AIIMS on 13th
**Darbhanga, Bihar:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the new All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Darbhanga on the 13th of this month. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also be present at the ceremony.
This will be the second AIIMS in Bihar, with the first one already established in Patna. The new Darbhanga AIIMS is expected to be completed within three years. The state government has allocated 188 acres of land near the bypass in Darbhanga for the construction of the hospital.
The new AIIMS is expected to provide much-needed healthcare facilities in the region and will be a major boost to the state’s medical infrastructure.
