**MINNEAPOLIS, MN** – After nine months of rigorous rehabilitation, Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson is set to return to the field on Sunday Night Football against the Colts. The dynamic tight end, who suffered a torn ACL in December 2023, has used his time away from the game to reflect on his faith, family, and the support he has received from his team and organization.

“Every time you go through something like this… it really brings out a new perspective of the game,” Hockenson said. “I just took a step back and realized the situation and the organization I’m in… I couldn’t be in a better place.”

Hockenson’s return comes just in time for the Vikings, who are looking to bounce back from a two-game losing streak. His impact on the offense cannot be understated, as he has proven to be a versatile weapon capable of making plays both in the passing and running game.

“I think you’ve seen throughout his career, just the production that he brings and the mismatch that he can create against safeties, linebackers,” said Vikings Offensive Coordinator Wes Phillips. “He’s a complete tight end.”
