**JACKSONVILLE, FL** – The Jacksonville Jaguars are hopeful to have several key offensive players back for their Week 9 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, running backs Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) and Tank Bigsby (ankle), and wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (chest) are all “likely” to play on Sunday.
Bigsby, Thomas, and Davis all sustained injuries during last week’s loss to the Green Bay Packers. Etienne, who missed Weeks 7 and 8 with a hamstring injury, is also expected to return.
While the Jaguars are optimistic about the return of Etienne, Bigsby, and Thomas, wide receiver Gabe Davis (shoulder) is considered a “long shot” to play.
Bigsby leads the Jaguars in rushing with 493 yards and four touchdowns, while Etienne has 230 yards and two touchdowns. Thomas, a first-round rookie, has emerged as a star for Jacksonville with 33 receptions for 573 yards and five touchdowns.
The return of these key offensive players could be a major boost for the Jaguars, who will be facing a tough opponent in the Eagles.
