**Patna, Bihar:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bihar on November 13th to lay the foundation stone for the much-awaited AIIMS in Darbhanga. This will be the second AIIMS in Bihar, the first being in Patna.
The event is expected to be attended by a number of prominent figures, including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha, and BJP spokesperson Prem Ranjan Patel.
The AIIMS in Darbhanga, located near the Shobhan Bypass, will be constructed on a sprawling 188-acre plot provided by the Bihar government. The project, spanning over 2.25 lakh square meters, is anticipated to be completed within three years.
This development is expected to benefit not only Darbhanga but also numerous districts in North Bihar, including neighboring Nepal.
In addition to the Darbhanga visit, PM Modi will also be in Jamui on November 15th to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The central government is observing this occasion as ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Divas’ and is expected to announce various benefits for the tribal community.
This visit underscores the importance of Bihar in PM Modi’s political landscape and demonstrates the government’s commitment to the state’s development.
