Despite a star-studded cast featuring Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Kartik Aaryan, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” falls short of expectations, failing to deliver the horror-comedy punch that audiences have come to anticipate. While the film boasts a unique combination of talent, it ultimately lacks the necessary spark to truly entertain.
The film’s plot revolves around a haunted palace, where a fraudulent exorcist, Rooh Baba (played by Kartik Aaryan), is summoned to solve the mystery. The presence of two potential ghost suspects, Mallika (Vidya Balan) and Mandira (Madhuri Dixit Nene), adds to the intrigue. While the film attempts to create a sense of suspense, it mostly relies on predictable jokes and tired tropes, resulting in a rather long and underwhelming experience.
While Kartik Aaryan delivers a satisfactory performance, the film suffers from a lack of depth in the roles of Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit Nene. The supporting cast, which includes seasoned actors like Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, and Sanjay Mishra, is unfortunately underutilized.
