**Sao Paulo, Brazil -** Haas driver Kevin Magnussen has been ruled out of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix weekend after falling ill following Thursday’s media duties. His replacement, Formula 2 driver Ollie Bearman, will continue to drive for the team, having already impressed in Sprint Qualifying where he secured a P10 starting position for the Sprint.

This marks Bearman’s third substitute appearance in Formula 1 this season, having previously driven for Ferrari and Haas. He is set to make his full-time debut in the series with Haas next year.

Meanwhile, George Russell expressed his frustration after leading the initial stages of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix before losing out due to red flags. He commented, “I was pretty angry.”

The race was also notable for Lando Norris’ unlucky pit stop timing which cost him a potential podium finish. Despite the setback, Norris remains optimistic about the team’s future, stating, “We’ll keep our heads down.”

In a separate development, Max Verstappen set a new record for the longest stint as championship leader, surpassing the previous record held by Michael Schumacher.
