Sun Nov 03 22:12:08 UTC 2024: ## BJP Accuses Telangana Congress Government of “Directionless Administration”
**Hyderabad, November 4, 2024:** The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a scathing attack on the Congress government in Telangana, accusing it of neglecting the welfare of its people and failing to deliver on its promises.
Rajya Sabha MP and national OBC president K. Laxman criticized the government for prioritizing “useless” foreign trips by its ministers over the well-being of citizens. He highlighted the government’s failure to implement the six guarantees promised, citing the stalled ‘Rythu Bharosa’ financial assistance scheme, the ineffective farm loan waiver, and the lack of support prices for oil palm and cotton farmers.
Laxman also questioned the Chief Minister’s claim of providing 50,000 jobs, demanding details on the notification process and exam dates. He expressed concern over the stalled fee reimbursement scheme for students, highlighting the general dissatisfaction across various sections of society.
Meanwhile, Sirupur MLA Palvai Harish Babu has demanded a probe into alleged “mafia” activities by Forest department officials in Kumram Bheem Asifabad, calling for the suspension of officials responsible for using “third-degree methods” on people who had killed a wild boar.
In a separate development, the BJP is gearing up for its organizational elections, with a workshop scheduled on November 7 to be attended by senior leaders like Sambit Patra, Sunil Bansal, and G. Kishan Reddy.
The BJP’s criticism comes as the Congress government in Telangana faces growing pressure to deliver on its promises. With a general election looming, the party is expected to face further scrutiny over its performance.
