**Amaravati, November 4:** The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 results were released on Monday morning by Minister Nara Lokesh. A total of 1,87,256 candidates out of 3,68,661 who appeared for the exam qualified, marking a success rate of 50.79%.
The Minister announced the results, stating that the state government is committed to fulfilling its promises to the youth and unemployed. He highlighted the upcoming mega-DSC notification which will be released soon, offering jobs for qualified TET candidates.
The results are available on the official website: https://cse.ap.gov.in. Minister Lokesh extended his congratulations to all the successful candidates.
The AP TET 2024 exam was conducted in October with over 4,27,300 individuals applying and 3,68,661 participating. The results are crucial as they open the door for qualifying candidates to apply for upcoming teaching positions through the District Selection Committee (DSC). With a 20% weightage given to TET scores in the DSC, candidates are now eligible to secure teaching jobs in the state.
This year’s AP TET results are particularly significant as the government has made the TET eligibility certificate valid for lifetime, a change from the previous seven-year validity period. This encourages more individuals to attempt the exam, seeking better career prospects in education.
