**Sukma, November 3, 2024:** Two policemen were injured in a Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district on Sunday morning. The attack occurred at a weekly market in Jagargunda village, where the policemen were on security duty.
A small group of Naxalites, estimated to be four to five individuals, ambushed the officers, wielding sharp weapons. They then fled the scene. Other security personnel present immediately initiated a search operation for the attackers.
The injured policemen, stationed at the Jagargunda police station, were hospitalized in a local facility. They are expected to be transferred to Sukma for further medical attention.
