Sun Nov 03 12:25:10 UTC 2024: ## Red Bull’s Title Hopes Take a Hit as Ferrari Rises in Brazil

Red Bull Racing’s Helmut Marko expressed frustration after the team slipped from second to third in the 2024 Constructors’ Championship following the Brazilian Grand Prix. A series of mishaps, including engine problems for Max Verstappen and a Q1 elimination for Sergio Perez, hampered the team’s performance.

Verstappen, who had his World Championship lead reduced due to penalties, was left particularly unhappy with the qualifying session, which saw several red flags and a chaotic finish.

Adding insult to injury, Ferrari’s double podium in the United States has boosted them to second place in the Constructors’ Championship, costing Red Bull valuable prize money and team bonuses.

Despite the setbacks, Marko remains optimistic, highlighting two remaining races in Qatar and Las Vegas as potential opportunities for Red Bull to secure victories. He acknowledges the RB20 car’s struggles in slow corners, particularly against Ferrari and McLaren, but believes a normal run-up to qualifying and the race will improve their performance.

With just four races remaining, the championship race is heating up, with Ferrari emerging as a serious threat. Red Bull will need to find a way to overcome their current struggles and capitalize on the remaining opportunities if they hope to salvage their season.
