**Ranchi:** Adani Power Jharkhand Limited has reportedly halved its electricity supply to Bangladesh due to unpaid dues amounting to 7112 crore rupees. The company operates a 1496 megawatt plant, but is now producing only 700 megawatts, according to some local Bangladesh media outlets.
Earlier, Adani Power had sent a letter to the Bangladesh Power Development Board, demanding payment of the dues by October 30th. The letter warned that if the bills are not paid, the company would be forced to restrict its contractual obligations.
