**SEPANG, MALAYSIA** – Francesco Bagnaia delivered a dominant performance at the Malaysian Grand Prix, securing his 10th victory of the season and keeping the MotoGP championship fight alive heading into the final round. The reigning world champion, who crashed out of the sprint race on Saturday, started from pole position and led from start to finish, ultimately crossing the line 2.9 seconds ahead of Jorge Martin.

Bagnaia’s victory, coupled with Martin’s second-place finish, narrowed the championship gap to 24 points. The championship will now be decided in the final race, which is yet to be confirmed due to the cancellation of the Valencia GP.

Martin, who had a chance to clinch the championship with a nine-point advantage, was unable to challenge Bagnaia in the later stages of the race. He was, however, able to secure a valuable second place, ensuring he remains in the title hunt.

Enea Bastianini completed the podium, finishing in third place. His performance moved him up to third in the overall standings.

Marc Marquez, who started from the second row, finished in 13th place, putting him back into third in the championship standings.

The race saw several exciting battles throughout the field, including a tense fight for 10th place between Johann Zarco, Marco Bezzecchi, and Augusto Fernandez. Andrea Iannone, making his return to MotoGP after a four-year absence, finished in 18th place.

The Malaysian Grand Prix was a thrilling affair, with Bagnaia’s victory setting the stage for a dramatic final showdown for the championship. All eyes will now be on the final race, where the 2024 MotoGP champion will be crowned.
