**Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh:** On the occasion of Diwali, tribal youth in the village of Bhalukona, located near the Maharashtra border, celebrated with a vibrant display of traditional dance and song. Following the Govardhan Puja, the young men and women performed the “Rela” dance, a traditional tribal dance that involves rhythmic steps and the use of a bamboo stick called “Jhalar Badga.” The dance, characterized by its spirited energy and colorful attire, embodies the cultural heritage of the Adivasi community.
