Sat Nov 02 05:58:45 UTC 2024: ## PCB Offers Special Ticket Quota and Visa Facilitation for Indian Fans at Champions Trophy 2025
**ISLAMABAD:** The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced special measures to attract Indian fans to the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled to be held in Pakistan in February-March.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Khan has stated that a dedicated ticket quota will be reserved for Indian fans, while the visa processing for Indian spectators will be expedited. He also said, “We are trying to facilitate the issuance of visas to Indian fans who wish to attend the Champions Trophy.”
The announcement comes amidst uncertainty surrounding India’s participation in the tournament due to ongoing political tensions between the two countries. India’s government has yet to confirm whether the national team will travel to Pakistan, and the official tournament schedule is pending confirmation until the Indian government’s decision is announced.
This gesture from the PCB can be seen as an attempt to appease Indian fans and potentially convince the Indian government to allow the team’s participation. However, the success of these efforts remains to be seen.
This development comes after India refused to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023, resulting in a hybrid model where India played all their matches in Sri Lanka. The tournament’s final was also held in Sri Lanka.
