Sat Nov 02 05:10:00 UTC 2024: ## Nuketown’s Back! Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Adds Classic Map and Infected Mode

**Los Angeles, CA (October 26, 2024)** – Just weeks after its release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is already getting exciting new content. The first wave of updates has dropped, bringing fan-favorite game modes and a blast from the past.

**Infected Mode Makes its Black Ops 6 Debut**

Get ready for a Halloween-themed thrill with the return of Infected mode. This popular party mode is back, powered by the game’s new Omnimovement system. Players start as survivors, with one randomly chosen to become the first infected. The goal? Eliminate the rest of the survivors, turning them into the undead horde. The remaining survivors must outlast the infected until the timer runs out.

**Original Nuketown is Back in All its Glory**

Call of Duty fans rejoice! The iconic Nuketown map, as it appeared in the original Black Ops, is back in Black Ops 6. This remastered version remains faithful to the original design, complete with the signature 1950s Nevada testing site aesthetic. Whether you’re a returning veteran or a first-time Nuketown explorer, you’ll be able to relive the classic experience with improved graphics.

**Treyarch Map Designer Adam Hoggatt** expressed his excitement for the return of the original Nuketown, “The original Nuketown has always been my favorite, mainly because of how it came about and how the studio rallied around it. Recently, it occurred to me that many of our current players have never experienced the original, so they get to feel the Nuketown magic for the first time.”

**Season 01 Brings Even More**

These updates are just the beginning! Season 01, kicking off on November 14th, brings a wealth of free content, including:

* New Multiplayer maps and modes
* A terrifying new Zombies map
* Omnimovement and Black Ops 6 weapons and Loadout features in Call of Duty: Warzone

**Support Veterans with the C.O.D.E. Endeavour: Tracer Pack**

Activision is partnering with the Call of Duty Endowment to help place veterans in jobs. Players can purchase the C.O.D.E. Endeavour: Tracer Pack, featuring special cosmetics inspired by U.K. Special Forces veterans. 100% of the net proceeds will go directly to the Endowment.
