Sat Nov 02 04:39:23 UTC 2024: ## India’s Dominance Falters as Australia A, Oman Secure Victories

**Mumbai, India** – Despite a recent reign of dominance in Test cricket, India faced a series of setbacks across various domestic competitions. In the ongoing tour of Australia, India’s “A” team found themselves trailing by 103 runs at the end of Day 2.

On Day 3, the Aussies fought back, needing only 171 runs to secure victory, which they achieved with seven wickets remaining and two balls to spare.

Meanwhile, in other domestic matches, India’s domestic teams struggled against their respective opponents. Queensland trailed by 143 runs, Western Australia by 213 runs, and Victoria by 196 runs at the end of Day 2.

Oman capitalized on India’s struggles, securing a six-wicket victory with 38 balls remaining in their match.

These losses come at a crucial time for India, as they prepare for the upcoming World Test Championship final against Australia.

India’s captain Rohit Sharma, however, remains unfazed by the recent setbacks. He believes that the team’s performance against spin hasn’t declined and that the recent losses are merely a result of “too much expectation.”

“We need four wins from our remaining six Tests,” he said, outlining the team’s goal for the upcoming matches.

The team is hopeful that the experience of veterans like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be key in regaining momentum and securing the victories needed to progress in the World Test Championship.
