**Mumbai, India** – KDDL. stock price surged by 7% today, reaching Rs 2,572.0, while the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index experienced a decline of 1.3%, settling at 61,201.6.

Despite the overall index downturn, KDDL. emerged as a standout performer. Other notable gainers in the sector included RAJESH EXPORTS (up 1.2%) and WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 0.2%). However, Voltas (down 6.3%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (down 2.3%) experienced significant losses.

Over the past year, KDDL. has seen a remarkable 19.8% increase, moving from Rs 2,147.5 to its current price. The BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index also registered a strong growth of 39.5% during the same period.

While KDDL. achieved impressive gains, its net profit declined by 14.7% year-on-year for the quarter ending June 2024, reaching Rs 279 million. Despite this, net sales increased by 8.6% to Rs 3,599 million during the period.

The BSE Sensex, meanwhile, closed at 80,029.1, down 0.4%. ICICI Bank and Sun Pharma led the decline, each dropping by 1.6%. The NSE Nifty also experienced a slight dip of 0.2%, ending at 24,416.6.

Despite the overall market volatility, KDDL.’s strong performance and its positive year-on-year revenue growth highlight the potential for continued growth in the consumer durables sector.
