Fri Nov 01 06:00:00 UTC 2024: ## JEE Main 2025 Schedule Announced: Registration Open for Two-Phase Exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025, with registrations now open for eligible candidates. The exam, which serves as the gateway to undergraduate engineering programs in India, will be conducted in two phases:
**Phase 1:** January 22 – 31, 2025
**Phase 2:** April 2025
Candidates can apply for the first session until **November 22, 2024, at 9 PM**, with the payment deadline set for **11:50 PM** on the same day. The application process can be completed online through the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The JEE Main exam comprises two papers:
* **Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.):** This paper is for admission to undergraduate engineering programs (B.E/B. Tech) at various institutions including NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and state-funded universities. It also serves as the eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which leads to admission into the prestigious IITs.
* **Paper 2 (B. Arch & B. Planning):** This paper is for admission to Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) and Bachelor of Planning (B. Planning) courses across the country.
The exam will be conducted in **13 languages**, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The exam will be held in **two shifts** daily: from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (IST).
Paper 1 will consist of sections on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. All questions will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical value-based questions with negative marking for incorrect answers.
The NTA has strictly warned candidates against filling more than one application form, stating that strict action will be taken against violators.
