**Hyderabad, India** – The SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise has announced the retention of five players for the upcoming 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. The announcement comes ahead of the mega auction scheduled for the last week of November.

SRH has retained **Pat Cummins**, **Travis Head**, **Heinrich Klaasen**, **Abhishek Sharma**, and **Nitish Reddy** for a combined sum of INR 75 crores. Klaasen will cost the franchise INR 23 crores, Cummins INR 18 crores, Abhishek Sharma INR 14 crores, Head INR 14 crores, and Reddy INR 6 crores.

However, SRH will have a limited purse of only INR 45 crores for the upcoming auction, where they will need to acquire a team of 18-20 players.

The 18th edition of the IPL is scheduled to take place in March, April, and May 2025, with 10 teams competing for the title.

This move by SRH has generated excitement among fans, who will now eagerly await the team’s performance in the mega auction. The franchise will be looking to assemble a strong squad to compete for the coveted IPL title.
