**BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS:** West Indies batsman Shimron Hetmyer has been recalled to the ODI squad for the upcoming three-match series against England, beginning on Wednesday, January 1st. This marks Hetmyer’s return to the ODI format after last playing in December 2022.
The inclusion of Hetmyer comes at the expense of Alzarri Joseph, who was part of the West Indies team that faced Sri Lanka recently. Evin Lewis, who scored a century in the final ODI against Sri Lanka, has retained his spot in the squad.
