Wed Oct 30 15:00:00 UTC 2024: ## Kiran Abbavaram Gets Emotional at ‘K’ Pre-Release Event

**Hyderabad:** Actor Kiran Abbavaram got emotional at the pre-release event of his upcoming film ‘K’ on Tuesday. The event, held in Hyderabad, saw the presence of actor Naga Chaitanya as the chief guest.

Abbavaram shared his journey from a humble background, emphasizing his mother’s sacrifices for his education. “My mother worked hard to get us through school. She left us to work in another country for money. She made sure I was educated in English medium. I haven’t spent much time with her since I was a child, but she did so much for me. I wanted to work harder than her,” he said, visibly emotional.

He spoke about facing trolling and criticism after his previous films. “Some say I have a political background, others have their own opinions. I come from a family of laborers. If I don’t look good on screen, it’s not because I’m not attractive, it’s because I was sleep-deprived.”

He expressed his disappointment over the insensitive trolling he received. “They made a film about me, mocking me, without even informing me. Why did they do that? What wrong have I done? I have worked hard in eight films over the past four years. I am not a failure. Everyone has worked hard on ‘K,’ and I beg you, please think before you troll someone. You have families too. If you don’t like ‘K,’ I’ll stop acting and go home. Everything I do is for my fans, and I hope this film makes you all proud.”

Naga Chaitanya, a prominent Telugu actor, expressed his admiration for Kiran. “I like Kiran. He’s a dedicated actor. It’s an honor to be a guest at this event. I come from a family with a film background, but Kiran has built his own career without any support. I admire him for that. Movies like ‘K’ give opportunities to those without a film background. Don’t be scared of trolls. Every successful man has a woman behind him. Kiran has his mother and wife, and I wish the film all the success.”

‘K,’ directed by Sujit and Sandeep, features Kiran Abbavaram alongside Nayana Sarica and Tanveeram. The film is set to release on October 31st, coinciding with Diwali.
