**HOUSTON, TX -** The Houston Texans, currently sitting at 5-2, will be without their star receiver Nico Collins for at least two more games as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury sustained in Week 5.

Collins, who leads the NFL in receiving yards through five weeks, was initially optimistic about a quick return but has been sidelined since suffering the injury against the Buffalo Bills. After initially being labeled “day-to-day,” the Texans placed Collins on injured reserve, guaranteeing his absence for at least four games.

Collins, who has recorded at least 78 yards in each of his five games this season, is expected to return in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. Despite missing the last two games, Collins remains fourth in the NFL in receiving yards.

In Collins’ absence, the Texans have relied on Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell as their primary receivers. Robert Woods and Xavier Hutchinson have filled the role of the team’s fourth receiver, with Hutchinson seeing more playing time due to Woods’ foot injury.
