Wed Oct 30 12:50:00 UTC 2024: ## One Tree Hill Stars Ponder Their Characters’ Fashion Futures in Reboot

**WILMINGTON, NC** – Sophia Bush and Robert Buckley, stars of the beloved teen drama “One Tree Hill,” have offered insights into how their characters’ personal styles might evolve in the upcoming reboot, set 20 years after the original series concluded.

During a recent episode of their rewatch podcast “Drama Queens,” Bush, who played fashion entrepreneur Brooke Davis, expressed a desire to see her character embrace power suits. “I want the power suit,” she declared, “Maybe do some suiting so that I could just wear more suits.”

Bush admitted that while she has given much thought to her character’s personal growth and professional trajectory in the reboot, the specifics of her wardrobe have been less of a focus. However, she acknowledged the questionable fashion choices of the early 2000s, particularly during the show’s early seasons.

Buckley, who joined the cast in season seven as sports agent Clay Evans, provided a more nuanced perspective on his character’s potential style evolution. He humorously recalled the numerous scenes in which his character was required to wear a full suit while walking on the beach.

“I think two opposing things have happened,” Buckley explained. “One, he got married – spoiler alert fans, sorry, he gets married – and I can say from my personal experience, once I had [wife Jenny Wade] in my life, my fashion got a lot better.”

He suggested that his character would likely benefit from a similar wardrobe upgrade courtesy of his wife Quinn (Shantel VanSanten). However, Buckley added that Clay’s newfound comfort and stability might also lead to a more casual approach to clothing, with the occasional appearance of sweatpants and even Crocs.

While acknowledging the potential for a more relaxed wardrobe, Buckley expressed a desire to see his character continue to dress well, adding, “I would like to see him dress well though because just selfishly, like, come on, guys. Put me in some sharp suits.”

The “One Tree Hill” reboot is currently in development, and fans are eager to see how the characters’ lives and personal styles have transformed after two decades.
