**Pensacola, FL –** A NASA astronaut, who landed in Pensacola on October 25th as part of the SpaceX Crew-8 mission, was released from Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola hospital after an overnight stay. The crew member is in good health and will resume post-flight reconditioning with other members of the Crew-8 team at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

The astronaut was one of four crew members who successfully returned to Earth after a 235-day mission, spending 232 days conducting scientific research on the International Space Station.
