**KOCHI, KERALA:** Popular Malayalam music composer Sushin Shyam, known for his work on hits like “Kumbalangi Nights” and “Minnal Murali,” married his longtime girlfriend, Uthara Krishnan, in a private ceremony in Kerala. The wedding was a close-knit affair, attended by family, close friends, and prominent figures from the Malayalam film industry, including Fahadh Faasil and his wife Nazriya, and director Anwar Rasheed.

Uthara, who has worked as an assistant director on Anwar Rasheed’s film “Trance,” is also a close relative of actress Parvathy Jayaram. The couple first met in Chennai and Sushin previously shared that Uthara was the one who proposed, calling her his best friend.

Sushin looked dapper in a traditional Kerala mundu and a beige shirt, while Uthara radiated in a light red silk saree, adorned with gold jewelry. Fahadh Faasil, who attended the wedding with his actress wife Nazriya, looked stylish in a brown printed shirt, while Nazriya was a vision in a bright yellow saree.

Sushin, a rising star in the music scene, has been praised for his unique sound and captivating scores. He has composed music for several critically acclaimed films, including “Varathan”, “Bheeshma Parvam,” and “Aavesham,” and earned the Kerala State Film Award for Best Music Director for “Kumbalangi Nights” in 2019.
