Wed Oct 30 11:11:56 UTC 2024: ## ICAI Announces September 2024 CA Foundation & Intermediate Results

**New Delhi, India -** The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the results for the September 2024 CA Foundation and Intermediate examinations. Candidates can access their results on the ICAI website, icai.org and icaiexam.icai.org, using their registration or pin numbers and roll numbers.

**Foundation Examination Results:**

* A total of 78,209 candidates appeared for the CA Foundation examination, which was held across 453 centres.
* The pass percentage for the Foundation exam was 20.47% for male candidates and 18.76% for female candidates.
* Candidates need to score a minimum of 40 marks in each subject and 50% overall to clear the exam.
* Those achieving over 70% in aggregate will be awarded a “pass with distinction.”

**Intermediate Examination Results:**

* 1,39,646 candidates appeared for the Intermediate examination across 459 centres.
* The pass percentage for Group 1 was 15.17%, with 69,227 candidates appearing.
* Group 2 saw a pass percentage of 15.99%, with 50,760 candidates appearing.

**Upcoming Exam Dates:**

* The next CA Foundation exam will be held on January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025.
* The Intermediate Course exam will be conducted on January 11, 13, and 15 for Group I and January 17, 19, and 21 for Group II.

**Note:** Advance reading time of 15 minutes will be given for all exams except Paper 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination.
