Tue Oct 29 22:40:00 UTC 2024: ## Penguins Welcome Back Fleury as Wild Visit PPG Paints Arena

**Pittsburgh, PA** – The Pittsburgh Penguins return home after a long road trip to face their former goaltender, Marc-Andre Fleury, and the Minnesota Wild at 7:00 PM tonight.

This game will be a special one, as Fleury, a three-time Stanley Cup champion with the Penguins, is likely making his final appearance at PPG Paints Arena. The Wild are currently sitting atop the Central Division with a 5-1-2 record, while the Penguins are looking to bounce back after a slow start to the season with a 3-6-1 record.

Despite their overall record, the Penguins have a strong track record against the Wild, having earned points in 10 of their last 11 games against them (9-1-1). The Penguins also have an active six-game home point streak (5-0-1) against Minnesota, dating back to 2018.

Fans can celebrate Fleury’s return with special edition shirts, jerseys, and commemorative pucks available at PensGear. There will also be a Coke Zero Sugar Face-Off, where fans can win prizes, including a can with their face on it.

All fans in attendance will receive a Team Calendar, presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

On the ice, the Penguins are hoping for strong performances from their star players. Kris Letang has recorded a point in seven of his last nine games against Minnesota, while Evgeni Malkin has consistently performed well against the Wild, scoring 11 goals and 15 assists in 20 career games.

Sidney Crosby, who needs one more game-winning goal to tie for 16th place on the NHL’s all-time game-winning goals list, will also be looking to make his mark in the game.

The game will be broadcast on SportsNet Pittsburgh and ESPN+, with radio coverage available on 105.9 the X and the Penguins app. The Penguins will be wearing their third jerseys.
